All models in the Ascent press line from Beckwood are equipped with the following Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical components as standard:

HYDRAULIC
• Featuring a floor mounted HPU (hydraulic power unit) for ease of maintenance. Some models can be equipped with an optional crown mounted HPU.
- Hydraulic oil reservoir oil and temperature level monitoring (Balluff). This information is displayed on the included HMI.
- Hydraulic oil reservoir return filter electronic clog indicator. This information is displayed on the included HMI.
-Air/oil heat exchanger for hydraulic oil reservoir thermal management.
- Oil sampling port.
• Pressure compensated axial piston main pump (Rexroth A10):
- Proportional pressure control (force/tonnage control) (Rexroth DBETE).
• Variable pressing speeds:
- Proportional directional hydraulic valve (Atos DPZO) controlling ram movement.
• Dwelling @ force capability.
• Parker 2H/3H series NFPA tie rod hydraulic cylinders.
• Multitude of M16x2 test points for hydraulic troubleshooting
• Quality branded, readily available hydraulic components are used (directional valves, cartridge valves, etc.) . We do not use scarce components, nor use proprietary/private label hydraulics. In the spirit of transparency and uptime, if a like-for-like replacement component is not available, a functional equivalent can be substituted. Beckwood customer support can help with this if needed.
• Utilizing ORFS and CD61/62 hose/pipe/tube connections as standard for leak-free performance.

ELECTRICAL
• Mobile operator pedestal with HMI and anti-tie down, anti-repeat two hand controls for ease of operation.
• HMI is equipped with recipe/recall functionality for different tooling.
• HMI is equipped with diagnostic screens for troubleshooting.
• HMI is equipped with warning and fault capabilities to let you know of issues ahead of time such as reservoir oil level, temperature, etc.
• UL certified control panel.
• Linear variable displacement transducer (Balluff) internal to one ram cylinder for real time analog position feedback. This information is displayed on the included HMI.

MECHANICAL
• 8-point gib guidance equipped with hardened alloy steel guideways and adjustable gibs utilizing self-lubricating wear strips w/graphite.
• Generous daylight and stroke, plus adequate left to right clearance for tool loading/unloading. Side access (front to back) is purposely 75% of the working area depth for adequate material pass through if needed.
• Machine feet are set up with slots for anchoring, and with holes to accommodate optional leveling feet.
• Robust, pre-tensioned frame design with design intent (FEA analysis target) of .002"/foot of bed deflection with force applied to 80% of the bed working area.
• 3/4" T-Slots in the ram and bed bolster for work holding.
• Multiple lifting points for ease of moving/lifting/rigging.
