Although they have gone through several name changes over the years, Dension Multipress has been a leader in the manufacturing of Hydraulic Presses for the last century. Originally going by the name Denison or sometimes Apex Denison, there was a focus on C Frame and Gap Frame Hydraulic Presses that were either bench top or floor models. Throughout the years, they were known as Dension Multipress and eventually settled on Multipress. At the same time, they became known for manufacturing many different styles of hydraulic presses such as 4 Post Presses also known as Four Post or 4 Column from 1 Ton to 1000 Tons.

Denison Model Numbers are confusing. They are longer than most model numbers for other types of metalworking equipment. The reason is that each letter or number means something. We are pleased to offer a very basic key, however, the rule of thumb is that the first letter or couple of letters are the series, followed by the press tonnage. Most of the characters after the tonnage are about fairly technical details. While we always provide the full model numbers on our complete specifications, for the purposes of catalogs and manuals, we will be ignoring everything after the tonnage.
